1st Shift CNC Machine Operator Level II (3 and 5 Axis)

Available position: RAM Tool, Inc. is a high-tech CNC machining and manufacturing facility in Grafton, WI. We are immediately hiring for available 3 and 5 Axis Operator II positions. RAM Tool, Inc. is an industry leader that specializes in custom machining and building of aluminum & zinc die cast dies. We have a state of the art 80,000 square foot facility that is clean, safe, climate controlled, and the air is purified with Heat Steam units throughout the facility. We offer a sign-on bonus of $1500.

Responsible for moderate/complex machining, fixturing, tool set-up, in process inspection, and final completion of highly tolerance details (+/- 0.0005). Work with CNC personnel, toolmakers, engineers, and supervisors to plan and execute the most cost-effective method for producing quality parts. This is not a production machine tool operation position.

Responsibilities:

• Operating 3 axis and 5 axis vertical machining centers
• Progressive machining operations
• Dimensional accuracy checks
• Paperwork completion
• Training new hires

Skills:

• Proficiency in reading blueprints
• Operating CNC equipment
• Critical thinking
• Extensive multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in carbide tools
• G & M code programming
• Machineability of materials
• Preferred experience with Mitsubishi and Heidenhain Controls

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of demonstrated experience or equivalent.
