Build a career in the Rockies. Year-round.We don't do seasonal layoffs. Mountain States Snowcats employs across both the summer earthwork season and the winter snow season — so skilled people build real careers here, not just temporary jobs.
Why Mountain States SnowcatsWe retain people because we respect the work.
The reason Mountain States Snowcats has retained its core crew across 25 years is straightforward: we give skilled people challenging, year-round work in some of the most demanding terrain in North America — and we treat that work as professional, not casual labor.
If you're an operator, mechanic, or driver who is serious about your craft and wants to work on real projects with experienced colleagues — this is the kind of place where that matters.
- 01 Year-round employment No seasonal layoffs. Work spans earthwork season and snow season — 12 months of paid work for qualified crew members.
- 02 Serious equipment You'll work with one of the largest private snowcat fleets in North America, plus a maintained fleet of commercial excavation and trucking equipment.
