Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Pickerington, OH area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform commercial carpentry work on new construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Install metal studs, framing, blocking, backing, and structural supports
- Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other building components
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work alongside other trades and follow direction from supervisors and project managers
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years commercial carpentry
- Must have required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, high-visibility vest, and appropriate work boots
