Barcom, Inc. is a growing Security Company that is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to become part of our UL regulated Central Station team. This position is for a Central Station operator.
Central Station Emergency Dispatch Operator duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring and dispatching proper authorities to residential and commercial customers, assisting customers with alarm issues, monitoring the computer for alarm signals, responding to incoming calls, placing outgoing calls to verify alarms, all while accurately documenting information. Other responsibilities will include setting up new accounts in the computer system, downloading new systems, and trouble-shooting alarm issues with technicians.
Candidate must have flexible hours: Days, overnights, and weekends. Shift premium is paid for overnight/weekend shifts. Candidate will work 40 hours. Pay will be based on experience. Call center experience is a plus, but not necessary. Other skills needed: Organized, strong communication skills-verbally and written, and computer/typing skills. This position requires a High School Degree or Equivalent.
