<p><strong>Coho Construction Management</strong> is seeking an experienced <strong>General Civil Engineer.</strong> This <strong>remote</strong> role requires travel and will support Quality Assurance (QA) support activities for a large federal customer.&nbsp; The work would be focused on providing subject matter expertise for the owner in support of a nationwide, design and construction program.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industry experience as a designer of civil, site improvements combined with some field experience assuring compliance with plans and specifications on federal projects.&nbsp; Existing or recent security clearance a plus but not required.</p>
<p>This is a part-time on-call position. It's an estimated 200 hours of work within six months.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support design reviews from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC).</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance surveillance, prepare QA reports.</li>
<li>Perform onsite construction QA inspections, identify potential construction issues.</li>
<li>Support development of scopes of work (SOW) for potential construction modifications.</li>
<li>Conduct preliminary review of construction contractor claims.</li>
<li>Review contractor cost proposals and change orders.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.</li>
<li>Active clearance preferred, but not required.&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Required Experience:</strong></li>

<li>The Civil Engineer shall have a minimum of <strong>at least five (5) years</strong> in experience.</li>
</ul>

<li>Active PE License.</li>
