Scope:
A CNC Operator is responsible for operating machine(s) after setups have been completed by the area supervisor, lead person, or a CNC setup employee. Core Duties
- Assure all product manufactured meets drawing, quality, and procedural requirements
- Verify product quality by completing in-process inspections
- Visually verify all product satisfies workmanship requirements
- Assures compliance with job specifications by inspecting parts using micrometers, verniers, gages, and / or other measuring devices including CMM, vision system, and bench inspection
- Utilize GD&T to interpret blueprints
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment utilizing 5S practices
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions
- Participate in both formal and informal continuous improvement events / ideas
- Perform other related duties as directed
- At least one year of CNC machinist / operator preferred but not required
- Knowledge and skill to operate equipment correctly and effectively
- Strong knowledge in GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Ability to use various measurement and inspection devices
- Use SPC to monitor process control and product conformance
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance with AS9100 requirements
- Follow all safety requirements including use of PPE when required
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to various objectives and execute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to support / train others when required

A CNC Operator is responsible for operating machine(s) after setups have been completed by the area supervisor, lead person, or a CNC setup employee. Core Duties
- Assure all product manufactured meets drawing, quality, and procedural requirements
- Verify product quality by completing in-process inspections
