<p>Full-Time – Office in West Babylon, NY – Service Territory Greater NY Area <br>Monday–Friday&nbsp;</p>
<p>On-Call Rotation</p>
<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Air Comfort Service Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our growing Food Services Division. We are looking for a dependable technician who can diagnose and repair commercial cooking equipment while delivering the professional service our customers expect</span></p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking and food-service equipment</li>
<li>Service ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, steamers, kettles, warmers, dishwashers, and related equipment</li>
<li>Troubleshoot gas, electric, steam, plumbing, mechanical, and control-system issues</li>
<li>Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections</li>
<li>Identify unsafe equipment conditions and communicate repair recommendations promptly</li>
<li>Test equipment after repairs to confirm safe and proper operation</li>
<li>Clearly document work performed, parts used, equipment condition, and recommendations</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and other technicians</li>
<li>Participate in the department’s on-call rotation</li>
<li>Follow manufacturer requirements and all company and customer safety procedures</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Minimum of 3 years of commercial kitchen equipment experience preferred</span></li>
<li>Strong electrical, gas, mechanical, and plumbing diagnostic skills</li>
<li>Experience servicing equipment from multiple commercial manufacturers</li>
<li>Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals</li>
<li>CFESA certification is preferred but not required</li>
<li>EPA Section 608 certification is a plus</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Ability to lift equipment and materials and work in active commercial kitchens</li>
<li>Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a team</li>
<li>OSHA 10 certification preferred</li>
</ul>
