Concrete Solutions and Waterproofing has been fixing foundations, drying out basements, and restoring masonry across Eastern Massachusetts since 1995. Licensed home improvement contractor, MA HIC #203912, 5.0 rating on Google, 40 towns in our regular service area. Most of our work is residential: patios, walkways, garage floors, foundations, bulkheads, and basement waterproofing. We also run small commercial work for property managers, condo associations, and facility managers.

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced concrete finisher. You are placing, screeding, floating, and finishing on residential flatwork and foundation work, and you own the finish. Crews run two men on most jobs, so you are working, not watching.

One thing to be clear about up front: we are a small crew and everyone works across trades. When flatwork is slow you may be tying steel, setting and stripping forms, or helping the waterproofing crew on an interior job. If you only want to finish and nothing else, we are not the right shop.

What You Will Do

• Place, screed, bull float, and finish residential and light commercial flatwork
• Run power trowel, edger, groover, and hand tools
• Set and strip forms, tie rebar and mesh, check grade and pitch
• Broom, trowel, and stamp finishes depending on scope
• Read the scope sheet and confirm dimensions before pour
• Coordinate the pour window with the driver and keep the site clean
• Photo document the job on CompanyCam and clock in and out on Workyard
• Work outside your primary trade when your scope is slow or the job needs it

Who Should Apply

• 3+ years finishing concrete, residential or commercial
• You can run a power trowel and you know when the slab is ready
• Reliable transportation to our Braintree shop or directly to site
• Comfortable working outdoors in New England conditions
• Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, never a requirement

Pay and What We Provide

$30 to $40 per hour depending on experience. Direct deposit through ConnectPay. We supply tools and equipment, and we own our scaffolding and staging outright, which means your job starts on time instead of waiting on a rental truck.
