Description Position at New Pig Corporation New Pig is searching for an Accounting Associate ! We’re seeking a reliable and precise professional to join our team. We are seeking a candidate who can: work with our accounting and service department, respond to internal and external customer inquiries, work at a fast pace with rapidly changing technology, and more. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities: Accounts receivable payment application and discrepancy resolutions Accounts receivable customer communications (collections and customer inquiries) Accounts receivable billing for online customer portals Provide superior customer service internally and externally Navigating through different financial systems throughout the day Assist in special projects and other various accounting operations duties on an as-needed basis Provides full backup administration for other accounting personnel in a specific functional area (e.g. AR, AP) when needed All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related major required. Bachelor’s degree is highly desired. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Personable, eager, quick learner, and adaptable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work and communicate effectively, both orally and written, with department leaders and peers Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Windows and Office, especially Word and Excel New Pig is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
