Job Description

Position: General Labor - Processing

• Perform general labor duties in a poultry processing facility.
• Work in any processing department and on any available shift based on operational needs.
• Use scissors and knives to trim, cut, and process chicken products.
• Maintain production standards while working on fast-moving processing lines.
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to use scissors and knives safely.
• Ability to work at line speeds in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to work on platforms approximately 2 feet above floor level.
• Ability to lift products and materials as required by the assigned department.
• Willingness to work in cold, damp, hot, or humid environments.
• Ability to work safely on potentially slippery surfaces.
• Ability to climb stairs and work in areas located on multiple levels of the facility.
• Flexibility to work in any processing department and on any available shift.

Rehire Criteria

• Former Tyson team members must have been separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Individuals who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
• Applicants who do not meet the rehire criteria will be removed from the application process.
