<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>RoadGuard</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">RoadGuard is looking for an experienced <strong>Fabricator/Welder</strong> to join our team. This is a hands-on fabrication role working with steel and other metals to build, modify, and repair components used in highway safety and infrastructure projects, including guardrail, bridge railing, fencing, gates, signage mounts, and other custom-fabricated products.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We’re looking for someone who has solid MIG and Stick welding experience, can read blueprints and shop drawings, and is comfortable working independently in a fabrication shop. Experience in highway construction or guardrail is a plus, but it is not required if you have strong welding and fabrication experience.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What You’ll Do</span></h2>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Fabricate and weld steel, aluminum, and other metals using MIG and Stick welding processes</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Build and modify guardrail components, bridge railings, commercial fencing, gates, signage mounts, and other custom-fabricated products</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Cut, shape, measure, fit, and assemble metal components</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Operate fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, ironworkers, band saws, and hydraulic press brakes</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform equipment repairs and troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic issues as needed</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist field crews with repairs or modifications when needed</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain fabrication and quality-control documentation</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Follow OSHA requirements, welding safety procedures, and PPE requirements</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Help train and support less-experienced welders and fabricators when needed</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What We’re Looking For</span></h2>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>2+ years of professional welding and metal fabrication experience</strong></span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong experience with <strong>MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding</strong></span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working with structural steel</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to accurately measure, fit, cut, and fabricate metal components</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience using common fabrication shop equipment and tools</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to produce clean, consistent, inspection-ready welds</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to pass a practical welding test upon hire</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">High school diploma or equivalent</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Valid driver’s license</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, crouch, and perform physical work throughout the day</span></p>
