What You’ll Do:

As a Fire Sprinkler Inspection & Testing Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing inspections, testing, and documentation of fire sprinkler and related life safety systems across active client sites.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards
  • Perform fire alarm system inspections as needed
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including City of Los Angeles Regulation 4
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Document inspection results and prepare detailed, accurate reports
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding findings and follow-ups
  • Maintain inspection schedules and manage multiple service locations
  • Assist with minor troubleshooting and maintenance of fire/life safety systems
  • Stay current with NFPA codes, local requirements, and industry best practices


What You Bring -


Required:

  • California Sprinkler Fitter Certification
  • 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler and/or fire system inspections
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and inspection procedures
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Preferred:

  • Experience with fire alarm inspections and integrated life safety systems
  • NICET Certification (Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems or Fire Alarm)
  • Familiarity with digital inspection/reporting tools


Work Environment:

This is a field-based position with minimal office time as needed.


  • Work performed at client sites throughout Southern California
  • Travel between job sites is required
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be needed based on inspection schedules


Physical requirements include:

  • Standing, walking, bending, and ladder use
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
