What You Bring • You bring strong communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and explain concepts clearly to customers and team members. • You have solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and the ability to interpret bar graphs. • Your excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot issues, make sound decisions, helps to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. • You are comfortable using computers and technology, including data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing software. • Physical stamina and adaptability, able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and safely climb ladders or scaffolding. • You have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn from experienced journeymen while growing your skills in the heating, air and ventilation trade. Key Responsibilities • Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. • Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship classes, achieving passing grades in both classroom and hands-on training assessments. • Learn and apply proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures on job sites. • Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork, piping, and related components, supporting setup, wiring, and testing of HVAC units. • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance under guidance, including electrical, refrigerant, and airflow systems. • Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles while adhering to company quality and safety standards. • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers, providing professional, friendly service. • Participate in ongoing hands-on training to build technical knowledge and grow toward becoming a licensed HVAC technician. • Work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical field experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality job performance Basic Requirements: High school diploma/GED Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to travel and attend classes during apprenticeship training period Adept at using the basic tools of the trade Good math skills for accurate measurements Excellent manual dexterity Strong active listening skills and a passion for the trade Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently and take guided direction Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation Preferred Requirements: Recent graduate of an accredited skilled trade or vocational program 1 year of HVAC Install experience Why You'll Love Working Here • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid parental leave; PTO; company-paid holidays; life and disability insurance; accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage; and access to voluntary benefits such as pet insurance and identity/fraud protection - everything you need to support yourself and your family. • Real Growth Opportunities: With more than 60+ strong local brands behind you, you’ll have the chance to grow your skills, take on new responsibilities, and build a long-term career. • A Culture with Heart: We lead with teamwork, respect, and integrity.
