HVAC Install Field Supervisor
Position Summary
Provide leadership and oversight for the Installation team by directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of installers and technicians. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installation operations while driving team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, and coordinate daily work schedules based on workload demands, installation priorities, and team capabilities.
- Lead, coach, and develop installers through ongoing training, performance feedback, and hands-on field support.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety by conducting jobsite inspections, monitoring compliance, and providing safety training.
- Investigate workplace incidents and injuries and complete required documentation and corrective action plans.
- Monitor employee productivity, work quality, and overall performance to ensure operational standards are achieved.
- Manage inventory levels, equipment, tools, and materials to support installation operations and maintain efficiency.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer expectations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve installation processes, policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Assist in evaluating and testing technicians' skills and performance to support professional development and career growth.
- Review labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure projects are completed within budget and profitability targets.
- Analyze installation requirements and coordinate solutions for complex projects, service needs, or operational challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership, sales, operations, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain shop organization, fleet readiness, and equipment maintenance to provide safe and productive working conditions.
- Demonstrate and reinforce proper installation techniques through field visits and hands-on guidance.
- Participate in departmental budgeting, purchasing decisions, and expense management.
- Interpret plans, specifications, and job requirements to ensure accurate project execution and support sales and installation teams.
- Address employee relations matters, provide coaching, and assist team members in overcoming performance or skill gaps.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, promotions, disciplinary actions, and other personnel decisions.
- Review contractor proposals and coordinate external resources when necessary to support operational objectives.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including labor reports, productivity metrics, inventory data, and installation performance statistics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products, equipment availability, and cost-effective solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, customer experience, and team performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
