Concrete Solutions and Waterproofing has been fixing foundations, drying out basements, and restoring masonry across Eastern Massachusetts since 1995. Licensed home improvement contractor, MA HIC #203912, 5.0 rating on Google, 40 towns in our regular service area. Most of our work is residential: patios, walkways, garage floors, foundations, bulkheads, and basement waterproofing. We also run small commercial work for property managers, condo associations, and facility managers.

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced mason. Our masonry work is restoration heavy: repointing, chimney rebuilds, foundation parging, block and brick repair, steps, and retaining walls. This is craft work on older Eastern Massachusetts housing stock. If you take pride in a joint that matches the original, you will fit here.

We are a small crew and everyone works across trades. When masonry is slow you may be on a foundation pour, helping set forms, or on a waterproofing job. The craft work is real and there is plenty of it, but nobody here stands around waiting for their scope.

What You Will Do

• Repoint brick and stone, match existing joint profile and mortar color
• Rebuild and repair chimneys, crowns, and caps
• Lay block and brick for foundations, steps, and walls
• Parge and repair foundation walls
• Cut and set stone, cap, and tread
• Set up and work safely from staging and scaffold
• Mix to spec using Type N pre-mixed bagged mortar
• Photo document on CompanyCam, time on Workyard
• Work outside your primary trade when your scope is slow or the job needs it

Who Should Apply

• 5+ years masonry, restoration and repair preferred over new construction
• You can match an existing joint and you know why that matters
• Comfortable on staging at height
• Reliable transportation
• Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, never a requirement

Pay and What We Provide

$34 to $46 per hour depending on experience. Direct deposit through ConnectPay. We supply tools and equipment, and we own our scaffolding and staging outright, which means your job starts on time instead of waiting on a rental truck.
