Master Electrician—Field Operations Supervisor

Landmark Electric is seeking an experienced Michigan Master Electrician to lead field execution, solve complex electrical problems and help develop our electricians.
This is a hands-on supervisory position that includes electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs and installations. You will combine selected field assignments with coaching, workmanship oversight and coordination with dispatch.
Reporting directly to the President, you will help establish clear expectations, support sound technical decisions and deliver the quality of work customers expect from Landmark.
Based in Troy, Landmark specializes in residential electrical service, repair and upgrades, with additional light-commercial work throughout Oakland, Macomb and select Wayne County communities.
Responsibilities
Field execution and technical leadership
- Perform and oversee electrical troubleshooting, service, repairs and installations.
- Lead technically demanding assignments and help electricians resolve field challenges.
- Review job requirements, material needs and installation plans before work begins.
- Support projects involving panels and service upgrades, generators, EV charging, dedicated circuits, lighting and renovations.
- Ensure work follows applicable electrical requirements, approved scopes and company standards.
Team supervision and development
- Provide practical instruction, clear expectations and constructive feedback.
- Help electricians strengthen troubleshooting, installation and customer-service skills.
- Support onboarding and participate in interviews and hiring recommendations.
- Coordinate with dispatch on crew capabilities, job readiness and technical support needs.
- Balance hands-on assignments with supervisory responsibilities in coordination with the President.
Workmanship and customer care
- Review completed work, job documentation and inspection readiness.
- Address workmanship concerns and help prevent recurring problems.
- Explain technical findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
- Prepare or review estimates when needed and communicate scope changes before additional work proceeds.
- Reinforce safe work practices, professional conduct and accountability.
The position may include designation as Landmark’s Master Electrician of Record. That assignment and its associated responsibilities will be defined in the written offer.
Qualifications
- An active Michigan Master Electrician license at the time of application.
- Michigan residency and eligibility to serve as Landmark’s designated Master Electrician of Record.
- Strong residential service, troubleshooting and installation experience.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, permitting and inspections.
- The ability to lead by example, coach electricians and make sound field decisions.
- Reliable estimating, documentation and customer-communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting company-insurance requirements.
- Normal trade hand tools; Landmark provides major and specialty equipment.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred. A college degree is not required.
Compensation
- $130,000 annual base compensation.
- $5,005 guaranteed quarterly bonus, totaling $20,020 across four full quarters.
- $150,020 in combined annualized cash compensation.
- Applicable overtime compensation is additional.
- Annual compensation and performance review.
Annualized figures reflect compensation earned while employed and do not guarantee a fixed employment term. Bonus accrual, payment schedules and partial-quarter treatment will be documented in the written offer.

Schedule
The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Occasional emergency or weekend assignments may be necessary. After-hours expectations and applicable compensation will be clearly addressed during the hiring process and documented in the written offer.
