MECHANICAL DISASSEMBLER ASSEMBLER TECHNICIAN (Laborer)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

DuHadaway Tool and Die Shop, Inc. is currently seeking a Mechanical Disassembler/Assembler Technician for our industrial turbine component repair division operations located in Newark, Delaware. The position requires strong mechanical skill/aptitude, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, balance and basic math skills. Candidates must have experience with general hand tools, pneumatic tools, overhead cranes and possess an attention to detail. Candidates should also be able to communicate with various departments and personnel in a collaborative atmosphere, work from verbal and written instructions, retain processes and maintain paperwork. An understanding and the ability to use measuring equipment such as: micrometers, dial calipers, and height gauges is required.

  • Be familiar with the use of general hand tools such as: sockets, wrenches, small power tools, etc.
  • Duties to include but not limited to: assembly/disassembly of components, sandblasting, inspection, pressure and flow testing.
  • A mechanical aptitude is required.

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: In person; Full-time – 1st shift (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) or 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.). 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday.

Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour

CONVENTIONAL MACHINIST

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

We are currently seeking Conventional Machinists for our manufacturing precision machine shop located in Newark, Delaware. Full-time 1st (7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) and 2nd (3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.) shift positions available. Our company offers an excellent benefits package and has climate-controlled facilities.   • Have at least three years experience as a Conventional Machinist
  • Must have knowledge running Engine Lathes, Turret Lathes, Bridgeports, VTLs and/or VBMs

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, lift-assessment and drug screening

We are a manufacturing precision machine shop located in Newark, Delaware, currently seeking to fill multiple CNC Machinist positions. Applicants must have experience with set up and operating CNC turning and/or milling machines. These are full-time positions with openings on 2nd shift, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Pay rate up to $35.00 per hour. Our company offers an excellent benefits package and has climate-controlled facilities. Please review the requirements below and apply if you are qualified.

  • Must have experience with Lathe and/or Milling Machines

This is a full-time position with an opening on 2nd shift, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Pay rate up to $35.00 per hour.   • Have 3+ years experience in S/S GTAW and other high nickel alloys
  • Able to read fabrication prints and weld symbols
  • Must be able to pass 6G Open Butt X-ray test
  • Use close tolerance inspection tools

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, lift assessment and drug screening
