<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Piping Fabrication Supervisor include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the process of fabrication and production of building components in a commercial construction fabrication shop</li>
<li>Lead and mentor a team of fabricators in daily production and training – staff will formally report to Piping Superintendent</li>
<li>Maintain the highest quality standards in the work performed, ensuring the meeting of all customer specifications</li>
<li>Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of fabricated components</li>
<li>Maintain inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment ordering supplies and materials as needed</li>
<li>Keep accurate records of progress and completion; Communicate with Superintendent, Foreman and PMs regarding status</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualified candidates will have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)</li>
<li>5-10 years of experience as a fabrication shop supervisor or similar role in commercial construction</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment; Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Computer proficiency, including experience with manufacturing software</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
</ul>
