The Production Assistant role is the operational backbone of every Brown's Roofing job site. You'll coordinate crews, materials, and paperwork while keeping projects on schedule and customers in the loop. It's the fastest path to learning every part of how a roofing company actually runs. Responsibilities: Manage job schedules and coordinate with roofing crews. Order, track, and manage materials, deliveries, and inventory. Monitor installation quality and conduct on-site inspections. Serve as a point of contact for customers — provide updates and ensure satisfaction. Make sure all permits, licenses, and project paperwork are accurate and complete. Track project expenses and keep jobs within budget. Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Identify efficiency improvements in production processes. Supervise subcontractors for timeline and quality adherence. Build strong vendor and internal team relationships. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Effective communicator and natural problem solver. Computer proficient; comfortable with project management tools. Team-oriented but able to own responsibility independently. Experience in scheduling, coordination, and record-keeping. Knowledge of quality control and material management. Able to juggle multiple priorities without losing customer focus.
