You will work independently on peptide and small molecule discovery projects, refine and work on internal Research & Development. This is a hands-on, scientifically demanding role at the interface of chemistry, molecular biology and client delivery. You will work with a collaborative team of scientists, contribute to platform innovation, and work closely with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design, run and analyze mRNA display selections of cyclic peptide libraries against diverse targets
  • Maintain, optimize and extend the mRNA display platform, including library design, translation, cyclisation and selection workflows
  • Handle and quality-control nucleic acids (mRNA, DNA, cDNA), including library preparation, PCR/RT-PCR and next-generation sequencing readouts
  • Develop, validate and transfer assays for hit identification and confirmation
  • Contribute to project planning, timelines and documentation
  • Keep abreast of new developments in display technologies and cyclic peptide therapeutics, and propose improvements to our offering
  • Contribute to peptide and small-molecule DEL screening projects, including library screening, hit identification and data analysis
