Service Operations Intern


Summary:
The Service Operations Intern supports the Service Operations team through administrative,
reporting, and project-based activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to dealership service
operations while assisting with initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall
business performance.

Essential Duties:
• Track, monitor, and maintain operational records, reports, and documentation.
• Assist with collecting, organizing, and maintaining documentation for audits, reviews, and
  compliance-related activities.
• Maintain departmental files, records, and supporting documentation in accordance with company
  requirements.
• Upload, update, and maintain operational information within company systems and databases.
• Process, track, and reconcile departmental expenses and related documentation.
• Compile reports and assist with data entry, data validation, and information management
  projects.
• Review records and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Support departmental initiatives through administrative and organizational assistance.
• Coordinate the collection of information and documentation from multiple locations or
  departments.
• Assist with report preparation, trend analysis, and operational improvement projects.
• Participate in training related to company operations, processes, and customer service
  standards.
• Provide general administrative support, including document management, spreadsheet
  maintenance, and correspondence.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives and department
  goals.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business
  Administration, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:
In a professional office environment, employees routinely use standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The role involves prolonged periods of
sitting at a desk, with frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling office equipment.
Occasional standing and walking are required to communicate with different departments.
Employees may need to lift and carry office supplies or small packages weighing up to 20 pounds.
Good vision and clear hearing are essential for reading documents and effective communication. The
work environment is typically climate-controlled, with occasional exposure to the busier dealership
floor.
