About this role
You will be part of the Southern Europe Purchasing team, within a matrix structure covering Portugal, Spain, France and Italy, in coordination with the EMEIA Category Managers. You will report to the Regional Purchasing Manager and the position will be based in Sant’Ambrogio di Torino, Italy. Salary range: from €38,000 to €42,000, depending on experience. What you would do as our Strategic Purchaser As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be responsible for defining and implementing purchasing strategies in your assigned categories, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with the group's objectives. You would also be responsible for: • Lead the definition and implementation of the purchasing strategy for the assigned categories, ensuring the fulfillment of economic and development objectives. • Select, develop and manage key suppliers, including negotiating agreements and framework contracts. • Lead projects of resourcing in collaboration with areas such as Marketing, R+D, Production, Logistics and Quality. • Participate in the development of new products ensuring the optimal selection of suppliers. • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, optimizing processes and resolving market, quality or deadline incidents. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: • Has a degree in Engineering and/or a master's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or related area. • Has at least 3 years of experience in Purchasing within an industrial environment. • Has a high level of English; other languages (French, Portuguese or Italian) will be valued. • Demonstrates strong supplier negotiation, analysis, and management capabilities. • Is able to work in international, dynamic and matrix environments, with autonomy and orientation to results.
