As our new Technical Supervisor , you'll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team within an Autonomous Production Unit (APU), ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement of production processes through leadership, technical problem solving and systematic follow-up. You support the team’s development and well-being as well as the implementation of GPS principles and action plans. What you will be doing As a key member of the APU core team, you'll drive SQDCIP performance by promoting quality excellence, systematic problem solving, and continuous improvement while developing the technical capabilities of your team. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a cross-functional team of Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, and Quality Technicians to ensure stable APU operations. Coaching, mentoring, and providing regular feedback on the shop floor while supporting individual development plans. Drive relevant problem-solving activities with stakeholders with full responsibility. Identifying production and driving process optimization through Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Executing and following up on process confirmations, including 5S, Layered Process Audits, safety checks, standard work, and equipment inspections. Review and update the department’s action plans, set the daily focus points. Promoting visible quality leadership and ensuring adherence to quality standards and process discipline. What makes you a great fit You're a technically strong people leader with a visible shop floor presence, proven experience in process optimization, and a passion for coaching teams within a manufacturing environment. We also expect you to have: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar environment. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and management system frameworks. Experience in people leadership, competency development, coaching, and performance management. Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods and process confirmation activities such as 5S, LPAs, safety, and standard work audits. It's a plus if you have: A Master's degree in a technical field. Hands-on experience with Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
