Role Overview Technician Drywall (2025-1270) Role Overview • The Drywall Technician will join our team. This role is responsible for performing drywall installation, patching, finishing, and related repair work in residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on carpentry experience, takes pride in detailed workmanship, and is committed to maintaining clean, professional, and efficient job sites. What You Bring • Proven experience in drywall repair, finishing, and general carpentry preferred. - Willingness to learn and develop additional trade skills. - Must possess own hand tools and cordless tool kit. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical labor. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. - Must pass pre-employment drug screening and HRE (Human Reliability Evaluation). - Professional appearance required — clean, well-groomed, and free from visible tattoos or facial piercings. - Excellent communication skills — able to present ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. - Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable to changing job requirements. Preferred Skills - Experience with drywall texture matching, finishing, and blending repairs. - Knowledge of framing, painting, and light carpentry. - Familiarity with construction safety practices and OSHA standards. - Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities • Perform drywall installation, patching, taping, and texturing to a high-quality finish. - Repair and restore damaged drywall, ceilings, and walls as needed. - Cut, install, and finish interior trim and moldings. - Assist with stucco patching and minor plaster repairs (experience preferred, training provided). - Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces at all times. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient project completion. - Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers. - Take initiative and assist other trades or departments when needed. - Use and maintain personal tools, including a cordless tool kit, in good working condition. - Adhere to all company safety procedures, policies, and quality standards.
