WhiteClouds is looking for a creative, hands-on Prop Fabricator / Prop Maker to help build some of the unique custom projects we produce for companies, museums, universities, events, attractions, and other organizations.
Our team builds large-scale props, product replicas, characters, statues, themed displays, exhibits, interactive pieces, and one-of-a-kind creations using a wide variety of materials and fabrication techniques. WhiteClouds' public portfolio spans exactly these types of products, including custom props, large replicas, themed seating, characters and statues, exhibits, letters and architectural décor.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys figuring out how to build things that don't come with instructions.

- Fabricate custom props, replicas, displays, characters, exhibits, and themed pieces
- Build and assemble components from foam, wood, plastics, metal, composites, and other materials
- Cut, fit, drill, fasten, glue, sand, grind, and assemble fabricated components
- Install internal structures, hardware, mounting systems, and mechanical components
- Work from drawings, 3D models, templates, photographs, and production instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and shop machinery
- Develop creative solutions for unusual fabrication challenges
- Assist with final assembly, fitment, testing, and quality control
- Work collaboratively with designers, sculptors, painters, welders, foam fabricators, and other production departments
- Experience in prop making, scenic fabrication, theater/set construction, exhibit fabrication, themed entertainment, museum fabrication, or custom manufacturing is a plus
- Experience with mechanical systems, motors, actuators, pneumatics, electronics, or interactive displays is a plus
- Animatronics experience is a plus
