About this role
WhiteClouds is looking for an experienced Sign & Dimensional Fabrication Specialist to help fabricate custom dimensional letters, logos, channel letters, architectural elements, branded displays, and other one-of-a-kind projects.
This is not a traditional vinyl and banner production position. Our sign and dimensional fabrication work combines metal fabrication, foam fabrication, CNC production, welding, assembly, and finishing to create custom projects ranging from dimensional logos and letters to large-scale branded displays.
We are looking for someone with sign-industry or related fabrication experience who enjoys building unique products and working with a variety of materials and fabrication technologies.

- Fabricate dimensional letters, logos, channel letters, signs, and branded displays
- Work with aluminum, steel, foam, acrylic, plastics, and other fabrication materials
- Operate or assist with channel-letter bending equipment
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum and steel letter returns and structures
- Perform MIG, TIG, and laser welding as appropriate to the project and experience level
- Work with CNC-cut, plasma-cut, routed, and formed components
- Cut, drill, bend, fit, fasten, weld, glue, and assemble fabricated components
- Install mounting hardware, internal supports, lighting components, and other hardware
- Read drawings, dimensions, templates, and production instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and metal/production fabrication equipment
- Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and quality
- Work collaboratively with Foam, Metals, Props, Paint, and other production departments
- Commercial sign fabrication or channel-letter experience is highly desirable
- Experience with dimensional letters, aluminum fabrication, welding, CNC equipment, or electrical sign assembly is a plus
- Experience with automated channel-letter bending equipment is a plus
- Experience with laser welding is a plus
