About this role
WhiteClouds is looking for a hands-on Foam Fabricator to help build dimensional letters, logos, props, replicas, displays, and other custom products from EPS foam and related materials.
This position is focused primarily on foam fabrication and assembly rather than sculpting or hand carving. You will work with CNC- and hot-wire-cut foam components and turn them into finished assemblies through fitting, gluing, laminating, sanding, shaping, reinforcing, and preparation for coatings and paint.
Our projects are rarely ordinary. One week you may be building giant dimensional letters or a company logo, and the next week you may be helping fabricate a large prop, product replica, or themed display.

- Fabricate dimensional letters, logos, props, displays, and other products from EPS foam
- Assemble CNC- and hot-wire-cut foam components
- Fit, laminate, glue, and bond foam sections
- Sand, shape, fill, and prepare foam surfaces
- Install internal supports, mounting hardware, and other components
- Prepare completed foam assemblies for polyurea, hard coating, fiberglass, paint, or other finishing processes
- Read measurements, drawings, templates, and production documentation
- Use hand tools, power tools, sanders, hot-wire equipment, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect work for dimensional accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist other production departments when necessary
- Experience in sign fabrication, dimensional letters, scenic fabrication, exhibit fabrication, architectural foam, or prop fabrication is a plus
- Experience with CNC or hot-wire foam fabrication is a plus
